MARKETPLACE PLATFORM DISCLAIMER

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE

TapCy is a technology platform that connects passengers with independent taxi service providers. We DO NOT provide transportation services.

All rides are provided by independent, licensed taxi operators who set their own prices and operate their own businesses. TapCy is not a transportation company and does not employ drivers.

By using this Platform, you acknowledge that:

Transportation services are provided by independent third parties
TapCy is an intermediary platform only
TapCy has limited liability for services provided by drivers

DRIVER INDEPENDENCE NOTICE

All drivers listed on TapCy are independent contractors who:

Set their own prices and rates
Determine their own working hours
Operate independent taxi businesses
Are responsible for their own licenses, insurance, and taxes
Are NOT employees of TapCy

TapCy does NOT:

Employ drivers
Control how drivers operate
Set or dictate prices
Provide insurance coverage for drivers or passengers
Screen or background check drivers (drivers must hold valid licenses)

BUSINESS USERS AND PROVIDER/AGENCY ROLE NOTICE

The Platform may also be used by business users (for example hotels/corporates) and provider/agency users.

Business users use TapCy as a digital coordination tool to speed up service requests
Provider/agency users use TapCy to manage and present groups of independent drivers
Neither business users nor provider/agencies become transportation operators through TapCy by default
Transportation service responsibility remains with the independent driver or licensed transport operator performing the trip

PRICING DISCLAIMER

How Pricing Works:

Each driver sets their own per-kilometer rate, base fare, and other charges. When you request a trip, the Platform calculates an estimated fare using the selected driver's rates.

Important:

Drivers, not TapCy, set all prices
Different drivers have different rates
Final fare may vary based on actual route, traffic, or additional services
Any fare adjustments must be agreed with the driver directly

Software fee notice: TapCy may receive a percentage-based software commission from participating drivers, provider/agencies, or business partners under separate agreements for using the platform. This fee is for software/intermediation services and does not make TapCy the transport service provider.

SAFETY DISCLAIMER

⚠️ USER SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY

You are responsible for your own safety.

While drivers should maintain valid licenses and insurance, TapCy:

Does NOT conduct background checks on drivers
Does NOT verify driver credentials
Is NOT liable for driver actions or accidents
Is NOT responsible for safety during transportation

Before entering any vehicle:

Verify driver and vehicle match Platform information
Trust your instincts
If something feels wrong, do not enter the vehicle
Contact local authorities (Cyprus: 112) if you feel unsafe

LIABILITY LIMITATION

TAPCY'S MAXIMUM LIABILITY TO YOU IS LIMITED TO €50.

TapCy is not responsible for:

Actions or omissions of drivers
Accidents, injuries, or property damage during trips
Quality or safety of transportation services
Lost or stolen belongings
Driver's compliance with laws

All transportation services are provided by independent third-party drivers. Claims must be directed to the driver or their insurance provider.

NO WARRANTIES

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We do not guarantee:

Availability of drivers
Platform uptime or performance
Accuracy of information
Safety of rides

"TapCy" and the TapCy logo are trademarks of Webito Future Tech s.r.o.

Unauthorized use is prohibited.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.

Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Prague, Czech Republic.

REGULATORY INFORMATION

For Czech Authorities: This platform is operated by a Czech-registered company providing information society services under EU Directive 2000/31/EC.

For Cyprus Users: Independent taxi drivers using this platform must hold valid Cyprus taxi operating licenses and comply with all local transportation regulations.
